Support Packages

Galleon Network Time Server (TS) and NTP Server (NTS) products are supplied with free extended warranties of 3 and 6 years respectively. These warranties are 'return to base', start from date of invoice and cover hardware faults only.

The customer must send the faulty unit back to us for all warranty work, we will then send the unit back to you. The Warranty only applies to hardware bought from Galleon Systems.

Why would I need an additional support package?

As stated above our standard warranty is return to base, this will inevitably lead to a certain amount of downtime in the unlikely event of anything going wrong. However, Galleon Systems realise that our time servers are installed to controll mission critical processes where any amount of system downtime will cost you money! Our support packages are designed to minimise any system downtime and loss of revenue.

Gold Support Package

A replacement unit is built and stored at Galleon Systems. This is a dedicated, routinely tested unit, held just for you and is ready for immediate dispatch should your primary unit malfunction. This will cut down downtime of your system to hours rather than days!

Gold support is available for 3 or 5 year periods - ask your sales adviser for more details.
