NTP Clock

Network NTP Clock with HH:MM:SS

NTP clock

Now all clocks can display the same, accurate, legal time. Our commercial Galleon NTP clock is specifically designed for applications where precision and reliability are of most importance. These NTP clocks are synchronised, using an NTP Time Server, so that all clocks display the same time. This means that all clocks will not only display the same time, but the time displayed is the true legal UK time. An NTP clock is used where accurate, synchronized time is required.

Key Features

  • They can be synchronised to a NTP time server.
  • Display the correct time
  • Time displayed is the true legal time.
  • Clocks can be used where acurate, synchronised time is required.

NTP Clock Synchronization and Control

The Ethernet interface allows the clock to be connected to a computer network. Network Time Protocol (NTP) and Universal Datagram Protocol (UDP) are both available at the same time. Switching between the two methods is not required.

NTP is a uniform method of sending time over a computer network. By default, the NTP clock will act as a client to public or local NTP time servers. NTP provides Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) to the clock. The clock implements timezone offsets and daylight savings rules to display the correct local time.
