1. \u00a0First and foremost, NTP requires a \u2018reference clock\u2019 that defines the \u2018true\u2019 time in order to operate correctly. All computer clocks are then synchronised based on the \u2018true\u2019 time provided by the reference clocks.<\/p>\n
