Time server

Galleon has the most Comprehensive Line of GPS Time Servers in the World Galleon makes a line of NTP time servers that synchronise to satellites that constantly orbit the earth. Each of the 24 satellites that are used to support the Global Positioning System (GPS) is outfitted with three atomic clocks.
Galleon's NTP time servers synchronise with the clocks on those satellites, which are accurate to approximately one millionth of a second to UTC. Each networked system can then synchronise with the Galleon device as often as is deemed necessary. This all happens behind the firewall, which means there's no need to access Internet-based time. The role of time servers is to acquire time so that this time can be synchronised on an IT system or enterprise. The vast majority of time servers available on the market today are NTP (Network Time Protocol) network time servers.
